Oh hello there, summer 2020! We’re so pleased you’re finally here. Here at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new season for many months. We’ve been busy behind the scenes, getting all of our spaces cleaned, prepped and in some cases transformed, for the season ahead; now our doors are officially open and it’s business as usual on the Talamanca beachfront. Whether you’re a returning guest, an Ibiza local, a visitor from out-of-town or a first-timer, we can’t wait to welcome you into our world in 2020.

First things first: welcome to our all-new blog! Here, we’ll be sharing all types of Ibiza news, articles, updates, interviews, happenings and even gossip with you on a regular basis throughout the season – please sign up via the homepage to receive our updates if you’d like to have it all delivered directly to your inbox. Alternatively, watch this space! We hope you like what you read – we’ve got a lot more to share with you in the coming months. In addition to the new blog, you may be wondering what else we have coming up at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay this season.

Something that’s very important to us is sharing the many spaces of Ibiza Bay with the local community here in Ibiza. We’re not one of those resorts where the pool is fenced in and access restricted to a certain few: far from it! We take our inspiration from the Ibiza days of old; when billionaires danced beside bus drivers, DJs and dancers sunbathed alongside doctors and the famous dined with the farmers. We invite people from all walks of life to experience life the Ibiza Bay way: relaxed, uninhibited, free to be who you want to be.

For this reason, many of our facilities are open to non-guests: our feet-in-the-sand Mediterranean chiringuito Chambao, the Ibiza outpost of our signature fine dining restaurant Nobu, our newly revamped healthy eatery Bay Café, the cutting-edge John Frieda Salon, the heavenly Six Senses Spa, and last, but absolutely never least, the Ibiza Bay Kids’ Club for our littlest friends. Obviously our guests are free to wander from one space to another within the resort during their stay, and now with the advent of our new ‘Spend the Day at Ibiza Bay’ concept, locals, residents and holidaymakers staying elsewhere can also experience the best we have to offer from morning until night.

Starting your morning at Bay Café is always a good idea. Whether you’ve just rolled out of bed in one of our suites, are looking for a post-workout snack or the perfect place to hold a business meeting, Bay Café is the place to be. Think superfood salads, deliciously wholesome cuisine, nourishing juices and smoothies with a few cheeky treats on the menu because, well, why not?

Our beach deck and pool bar have also been given a fresh new look and major extension for the new season. By day here, it’s a totally relaxed vibe, with a special beach menu including Nobu sushi and classic light dishes that are perfect for a hot summer’s day. After dark however, the pool and lounge bars become the place to be seen for pre-dinner drinks, a snack before you hit the town or late-night cocktails with the sound of the sea in the background.

In Chambao, our beach chiringuito, executive chef Carlos Herrero and his team continue doing what they do best: serving up the finest, freshest Mediterranean cuisine with a side of sparkling sea views. As a born and bred Valenciano, the chef is passionate about the custom of serving up a sharing-style paella on Sundays and so we dedicate this special day of the week to the tradition. Meanwhile, after dark (every night of the week), it’s all about decadent dining at Nobu.

Finally, it wouldn’t be Ibiza Bay if there wasn’t fun for the whole family. While you’re enjoying the epicurean pleasures of the resort, children can check in to Ibiza Bay Kids’ Club. Far from your average kids’ corner, our dedicated children’s area was designed and built with your little ones’ pure enjoyment in mind. From 10am until 6pm daily, our professionally trained and qualified child minders take kids through an interactive schedule of activities that includes pizza workshops, sushi master-classes, ice-cream making, mandala painting, dream catcher building, eco-friendly arts and crafts, mermaid and pirate parties, and in true Ibiza style, mini Flower Power parties among many other exciting and fun things for kids to do.

And that’s just the beginning… Summer 2020 starts here. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
